Can we rent the venue as an empty venue?

The answer is YES but with a caveat. The Cajun Mansion Event Venue is an all-inclusive venue, and it automatically comes with staff, security, and a decorated venue in addition to the vendors. The packages are customizable, and you can make it your own by bringing in your decorations. If you do not want to use our vendors, we typically coordinate swapping your approved vendors for our vendors. We would just remove the costs for our approved vendors and add your approved vendors.

When are you available for tours?

We are open 7 days a week for consultations! In the interest of time, give us a call at (337)223-4722 to schedule your venue consultation. You would want to provide the venue sales representative with your event date, your email, and phone number.

How do we save our date? What is the next step?

Call the sales representative and determine the best date and time to bring in your deposit, mail in a check, or pay by credit card or Venmo. We do not hold dates; therefore you must send your payment in as soon as possible.

Is the DATE HOLD Deposit Refundable?

A DATE HOLD deposit is a NON-REFUNDABLE payment when you have requested that the venue hold your date for your special event. The payment essentially puts your event date “on hold” for you and takes the date off the market.

Why should we book at the Cajun Mansion?

We have systems in place to provide you with a Stress-Free wedding. What sets the Cajun Mansion Event Venue apart from other venues is that we are a bed and breakfast in addition to a wedding venue. This allows us to provide our brides with a longer and more intimate experience! We are known in the wedding industry for giving our brides not only a stress-free wedding planning process but also a “24 Hour Bridal Experience” the day of their wedding from hair and makeup the morning of in our gorgeous sunroom to breakfast in bed the next morning!

What Form of Payments do you accept?

We provide you with several options for payments. We accept Cash, Checks, Venmo (2% charge), and Credit Cards (3.99% Charge)

Can we bring in our beverages?

Due to our liquor license, we are unable to allow our clients to bring in their alcoholic beverages, therefore we have created all-inclusive beverage packages with a variety of options to fit every budget!

What is your max capacity?

At the Cajun Mansion, we can host an event for up to 175 guests or slightly more. We also offer all-inclusive packages at our sister venues that can hold up to 350 guests!

Are brides and grooms accounted for in the guest count?

Yes, anyone who will be attending the wedding and CONSUMING food and beverages should be accounted for in your guest count. This includes the bride and groom plus the wedding party

Are we allowed to change our package once we book?

Yes, guest counts are subject to change, and we understand that! All of our brides and grooms have up to 60 days before their wedding to give us a final guest count and change packages. After 60 days packages can only be upgraded, not downgraded.

At what age are children considered a “guest”?

All children 6 and under are not accounted for in your guest count.

What is not included in your wedding packages?

Any Beverage Package (must be purchased from LCM), Grooms Cake, and Photography are not included in our wedding packages, although we do have plenty of recommendations for outside vendors! Just ask!

Do you offer financing?

Our contract offers monthly payments OR 9-month, 6-month, or 3-month milestone payments. All events such as large parties and weddings must be paid 3 months before the event.

Is the Deposit an extra fee?

Our DATE HOLD deposit goes towards the balance of your wedding and payment is applied immediately. The deposit is not an additional fee.

What is your pricing for a reception ONLY?

Our wedding packages are the same price for a ceremony/reception or reception only. Instead of having a 30-minute ceremony plus a 3.5-hour reception, you would have all 4 hours for your reception. The reception-only package still includes the day of experience for the bride and bridesmaids to dress and do hair/makeup. It also includes fresh flowers for the bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres.

Do you have any time restrictions on weddings and receptions?

Wedding Packages include a 4-hour venue rental which includes the ceremony and reception. Due to the city of Youngsville’s noise ordinances, there are time restrictions depending on the day and time. These can be discussed with you at the time of your consultation.

Is there parking at the venue?

At the Cajun Mansion, we have a gated area for guest parking on the premises with a parking attendant.

What other services do you offer?

We offer all-inclusive packages for weddings, private parties, rehearsal dinners, showers, elopements, etc. In addition to hosting events, we also specialize in romantic getaways at our bed and breakfast https://louisianacajunmansion.com/

Do I have a support system once I book?

All brides and grooms have ensured a HUGE support system when booking with us. Included in all wedding packages is an experienced WEDDING PLANNER that will help you in your detailed meetings and answer any questions you have throughout the process. Plus, a Day of Coordinator to help you with anything you need throughout the day, a NIGHT OF CONCIERGE who will be in charge of making sure the bride, groom, parents, and bridal party are taken care of, and an EVENT CAPTAIN to assure the event is running smoothly and the guests are happy! These 4 ladies all work together and know your file from beginning to end.

Do you charge for the option of an inside/outside ceremony?

We do not charge any additional fee for our ceremony options, you can either have an inside or outside ceremony for no extra cost.

Is there a cleaning and damage deposit?

Yes! We do have a REFUNDABLE cleaning and damage deposit that is refundable after your event.

Can the bride and groom spend the night of their wedding at the venue?

Absolutely! We highly encourage our brides and grooms to spend the night of their wedding at the Cajun Mansion and enjoy a homemade BREAKFAST IN BED the next morning!! We include this in every wedding package to ensure the most memorable and enjoyable experience possible!

Are we allowed to taste the food and wedding cake options?

Yes! Included in our wedding packages are complimentary tastings for both the catering and bakery.

Can we bring in our decorations and centerpieces?

Absolutely! Although we offer a variety of choices for centerpieces, you are welcome to bring in your own! In case you didn’t know, included in all of our packages is staff to set up and tear down your wedding! While getting your hair and makeup done the morning of, you will be able to see our staff set up your wedding from start to finish and you don’t have to lift a finger!

Are we able to rent rooms the night before the wedding?

Due to booking multiple events a week, we typically wait until 90 days before your event to rent out any additional suites for the night before.

Do you include a rehearsal in your wedding packages?

Yes! A one-hour rehearsal is included in all of our wedding packages. Rehearsals are not mandatory and not necessary for weddings with small bridal parties. The Event Captain shows everyone where to stand or sit for smaller bridal parties. We also have DINNER PACKAGES for those who are interested!

Are outside caterers allowed?

Yes! Outside caterers are allowed and we do give credits to all vendors included in the package (except the officiant). All caterers must be licensed and insured, and the kitchen cannot be used for prepping or cooking food.

Can we provide our officiant even though you do not give us a credit back?

Absolutely! Although we do not give credit back for using your officiant, you can provide your own. Once you decide to bring in your officiant, they do have to provide their supplies such as a pen to sign the marriage license, a microphone, and a podium if they require it.

How soon after our consultation do we need to save our date?

We can only hold your special date once we receive the deposit. Therefore, if there is a date that you just can’t live without, soon than later is the answer.
