There have been a plethora of changes that have hit Louisiana in light of COVID-19. With stay-at-home, social distancing and all but essential businesses shutting down, it has been quite an unsure time in all areas affected by the Coronavirus. Though there have been plenty of changes, Louisiana is ready to enter into Phase One of returning our beautiful state back to normal.
As of May 15, 2020, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards formally declared that Louisiana has entered into Phase One of its “Roadmap to a Resilient Louisiana”. Phase One indicates that the Stay at Home order is lifted and more businesses are allowed to open with strict social distancing, enhanced sanitation and required masks for employees helping the public. The order states that Louisianans should still stay at home as much as possible to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19. People who are at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19 should still stay at home unless they are traveling outside of the home for essentials, like food, medicine or medical care. Major changes in the new order include expanding the types of businesses that can now open and operate and the specific types of businesses that are limited to 25 percent of occupancy and require strict social distancing.
Now that businesses are allowed to operate, though most are limited to a 25 percent capacity, this means that The Louisiana Cajun Mansion Event Venue is now able to host your private event!
